Business & Industry
Businesses can and do play a gigantic part in improving public education in our city. Local companies can get involved by “adopting” a class, school, club, or special project to enrich our children’s education and provide the much needed resources still needed due to budget shortfalls. Learn more about Adopt-a-School Dothan! to see how you can begin improving our education system.
The role of religious and civic groups in the success of D.E..F is to attend events, volunteer, become an adopter in the Adopt-A- School! Dothan program, and find ways to promote a love of lifelong learning among your congregation or members. You can truly add to the quality of life in your community with your support of the Dothan Education Foundation and its partnering organizations.
Citizens of Dothan can also support the D.E.F. and its programs even if they do not have a child in Dothan City Schools. You are still a member of the Dothan community, and your input and support is essential to ensure our students receive the best public education available.
